Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with thy free spirit. Psalms 51:12
Remember the day you got saved? That peace that flooded your soul? The weight that was lifted off as the sin vanished away? The joy that filled your heart knowing that you had just been rescued from eternal damnation? I do. I remember it like it was yesterday. I remember that as a six-year-old little girl, I was ready to take on the world. I was smiling from ear to ear. And I stayed smiling for a long time. Why?
Because I realized that I had just received the greatest gifts of all time - eternal life and a Father for a literal lifetime.
So why do we not go back and relive that day in our hearts more often? Why do we not take a step back from the daily grind? Take a step back in time to relive or “restore” that joy; the joy that only comes from being a child of the King. No matter the situation and no matter the struggle, I think as a Christian lady we should constantly be going back to the day of our salvation. Ask the Lord to revive your memory of all the sweet details of your changed life. Because that, my dear sister, is where we can find real, everlasting joy!

Are you searching for joy outside of God? God’s plan for salvation is so simple! Here are the steps and verses to accept Him if you never have and accept His gift of eternal life.
Realize That God Loves You - “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 KJV).
Realize That Everyone Is A Sinner - “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23 KJV).
Realize That Sin Has A Price That Must Be Paid - “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23 KJV).
Realize That Jesus Died And Rose Again To Pay For Your Sin - “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8 KJV).
Pray And Ask Jesus To Save You And Claim His Promise Of Eternal Life - “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:9, 13 KJV).
Saved individual, take a moment and remember the emotions and overwhelming joy you felt when you got saved and became a Christian.
